Item Description: What a cool old Revenuer's rig! The grips are scrawled on the inside with the following; "Feb. 4 1929 Billy Largo From Dad"
Back in this time period officers were required to provide their own weapon and Revenue Officer Largo's father bought this one for his sons birthday.
The "duty belt" includes handcuffs with holster, handcuff key on a leather lanyard, retention holster for the .38 cal, US Revolver, pistol, and (6) .38 short, caliber rounds.
Also included "campaign hat".
I have to chuckle about the retention device as you have to put your finger through the trigger guard to release it. Of course the pistol is single action only so unless the hammer is cocked it will not fire.
