Nickel plated six round C series post WW2 K frame 2” Smith & Wesson 38 special Military & Police revolver. This is a “C” series k frame with a serial number landing it around 1950 manufacture date. The finish has some pitting and blemishes on some of the nickel from being carried. There isn’t any nickel pealing on the finish. The grips have a small chip and a crack. The grips are still completely serviceable minis these “character” marks. Timing and function are perfect. The trigger is very smooth without and issue. The rifling is crisp and in good shape. These models with a 2” barrel don’t come up too often. I’m not exactly sure how rare the nickel plated models are, but I’ve never seen one in the wild. Pick up off Wade Green Rd or halfway for the right trade.

I agree. The trigger on it is wayyyyyy better than a modern j frame. Classy looking snubby.
