Item Description: Would like to sell my Sphinx AT 380 M - an early to mid 1990’s handmade Swiss .380, 100% Stainless Steel pistol which is built like a rock ! The tolerances are so very tight on every part of this gun that it’s amazing !! It’s a very heavy duty, well built gun - Sphinx stopped importing them to the US back around 1996, they have a Lifetime Warranty though, (I’m guessing it’s thru KRISS USA, as thats who owns Sphinx now).
Because of its weight and tight build tolerances, it is an absolute pleasure to shoot - I highly doubt anyone shooting this beautiful .380 would be disappointed at all !! It is a heavy gun for being a .380, but well worth its weight in gold !! Yes, it will shoot anything in .380 cal., +P or not. Again, this gun was made as a defensive piece, and not to be carried and fired with 500 rounds daily as a ‘Fun Gun’ !! (Seriously, this is one of the best hand-built Guns next to the Rohrbaugh 9mm R9 that Remington purchased back in 2015) !!
I am the 2nd owner of this beauty, but it had not been fired at all before I got it, more than 10 years ago ! (And I have only put a box of 50 rounds through it since 2000!). Comes just as it would new, ie: two-tone all stainless frame, slide, and barrel, (.380), two (2) double stack 10 round mags with factory finger grips, (gun holds 10 in mags plus one in chamber for a total of 11 rounds). Color photocopy of owners manual, (which Sphinx mailed to me directly), a brand new DeSantis custom leather holster, (right handed, OWB, can be carried cross-draw or OWB right side, with adjustable cant). Actually very comfortable carried cross drawn, while driving !!!
Price has been lowered from what was paid for it, so there really won’t be any negotiating room). (To be honest, I paid $675 for it, then shipping, then FFl fees, and then I paid $50/+ for the DeSantis holster).
As for trades, I’m a Beretta fanatic, but no long guns, Nothing Polymer please ! Looking for a Taurus PT-92 C, in chrome or blued- doesn’t matter. What have you got ? I have no interest in Glock, nor any Long guns, 1911’s are out also, Thanks anyway. Anything old that doesn’t need $900. in repairs is a maybe. Would like to find a Smith .357 in a 2” wheel gun, 3” the absolute maximum ! So, whatta ya got? (Again, Beretta preferred).
