I believe this has been cut down to carbine length.

I don't know much about them, but from what I have been able to find, the front sight should be more of a bead than a collared sight. That is just my guess.

Man if only it was original, have one but those are awesome guns, love the engineering of the loading mech.

These are really sweet rifles!! Someone did a nice job on it.
Everyone should at least experience a Krag!!

For your reference, all original Krag carbines came without a rear sling swivel, so if you
see one, its' not original.
