I added a small rail to the front for bi-pod use. Never a FTE or FTF, runs flawlessly and very accurate. I love it but want to turn towards other collectible items.

I'm willing to add more (ammo, magazines, even other guns) to sweeten the right deal. After adding optics and taxes I easily have over $1000 into it, and I know there are plenty of CMP field and service grade M-1 Garands that were purchased for far below that price. I'm actually willing to trade down in value for the right deal but if you just bought one from the CMP store for $700 and want my gun plus a few hundred in cash then I'm not your huckleberry. I always want to be fair, and hope for that in return. I'll also consider WWII M-1 Carbines, S&W Model 29's or other interesting MilSurp with cash going either way, but will listen to all offers! The worst thing that can happen is we can't make a deal! I'm willing to drive a good distance for the right deal!
