Item Description: Selling my 1942 Husqvarna M38 in 6.5x55. This is touted as some of the most sought after of the Mauser actions. The gun is in fabulous condition including a spectacular bright bore. Stock has a few indentations but overall very good condition. The gun is a great shooter with very moderate recoil. Sell will come with 80 rounds of S&B 140 grain FMJBT and 40 rounds of PPU 139 grain SPBT. Shoot me an offer or any trade items! Thanks for looking!

Although we can all agree that the D&T, and having the bolt bent kills the value horrifically... offers are best sent by PM.

Actually the M38's had the bent bolt if they were produced in that configuration from the factory. Some M38's (early models) are technically M96's that were converted to a shorter barrel and the straight bolt was left. I learned all this when I was doing the research to buy the rifle lol! Thanks for the comment and I would definitely prefer offers to be sent via PM!
