For sale is Howa 1500 chambered in .308/7.62x51 with a threaded 20" varmint barrel. It was put together to somewhat resemble the M40A5 rifle the Marines were issued. The items the rifle comes with are as follows:

This rifle has less than 50 rounds through it and it's evident. Very clean, but there is a faint, small mark halfway up the barrel. Shot at the range to zero and took it out in the woods a couple times for target practice. Bore is super clean; mirror finish.
Planned on rattlecanning it but thankfully did not get around to that yet. Would look amazing with a custom camo paint job though. This is a nice rifle and I enjoy the heck out of it, but I just don't use it enough to justify keeping it. It would be perfect for both long range precision shooting and deer hunting.
