This is a brand new, never been fired Ruger Mini 14 Tactical rifle. It's a scaled-down, lightweight rifle chambered for 5.56 and .223 made with cold forged steel and is highly accurate. It's highly preferred over the AR 15 in terms of accuracy and has a lower profile and a reputation for durability. It has a rugged Garand-style action with a breech bolt locking system and a fixed piston gas system. When they designed this rifle it was made to take the heavier 5.56 ammo but will fire the .223 ammo all day long without a problem. The nice thing about this rifle is there are a variety of modifications that can easily be made to it and there are plenty of affordable magazines available. This rifle vs. the standard Mini 14 comes with a better gas system, a thicker barrel, and a flash suppressor. It was designed for a variety of uses whether it's strictly for hunting, farm work, or varmint shooting. This is the best of the best in this class of rifles. The good news is you get to start from new with this rifle. I paid almost $1350 for it when they became scarce and I thought you couldn't buy them anymore.
