They are street legal in Cities that have a ordinance to allow for Golf Carts or UTV's . We are located in the City of Acworth . Here we buy a insurance policy approx$12.00 per year & add mirrors . Then we schedule for a inspection from our local police . Once they inspect the cart and it passes they issue a permit sticker that is good for 3 years for $15.00 . Then we can drive them on any streets that are 25 mph or less . Cities with these type of permits allow for them to be driven , but they vary from city to city so you would have to see if your city has such a permit .Thanks for asking

I’ve seen these in Marietta Smyrna sandy springs etc but they are all battery powered

But $5 G’s will buy a nice used car

A very good point !

You should see some of the golf carts around Peachtree city
I’m quite sure they cost more than a car
