Item Description: For sale is my S.M.L.E. No.1 MKIII .303 Enfield rifle. As you can see by the pics, it's your typical "wire wrapped" .303 Enfield. It is good condition inside and out...just needs to be shot, that's all. Been sitting around in my gun room collecting dust. The info on the receiver band reads "R.F.I. 1964" which stands for "Rifle Factory Isaphore" and was made in India in 1964. Kind of rare since most of the rifles made at R.F.I. were 2A's and .308 chambered. Still has cosmoline here and there, but should clean up good. Bore is dark, but lands and grooves are present. A good solid rifle. $200 cash FTF. SLING IS NOT INCLUDED. Buyer must hold a valid and current Georgia Carry Permit and doesn't mind displaying it to me.
