I'm guessing it was in the walking dead . I have a cool watch that was in the transformers movie . Bought it from a prop store auction. No providence so I ware it . Its a nice watch! But they provided props for that movie and it was one of 2 movies the watch was seen in . So I am pretty sure may not have been used in it could have been a back up . Who cares I am happy with the watch like who ever buys the rifle will be i am sure

Again, thanks for the advice. If I had additional information regarding it's resume, I'd gladly tell you, but I don't. The fact that it was a prop gun is what was told to me by the shop that sold it to me. I mentioned it because it is relevant to the history of the rifle. Thus, I am passing that same information along to potential buyers. I have provided as much of that history as I know. Whether it was in 1 movie or 100, I have no idea.

It would be relevant if you new what movie. You can bet that the S&W model 29 44 mag. Clint Eastwood used in Dirty Harry is worth considerably more than even the premium a model 29 normally brings. If someone tells me something has provenance I would expect some documentation. There are some who have the interest and funds to pay a premium for such. Otherwise it is another Bushy with a different serial number.

It has only ever fired blanks (and therefore, it’s reasonable to assume, less barrel wear). Seems like a notable piece of information, no?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Just depends on the production and the scene it is being used in. If the weapon is going to be in the foreground, likelier chance it’ll be real. If far away, probably not. Sometimes airsoft, sometimes even plastic.
