I'm no expert, but I'd say no. Looks 100% legitimate to me. I've had it for about 40 years. If you look closely you can see a bit of holster wear on each side of the barrel.
What does the bottom butt plate have on it. I see the hint of a lanyard ring in the pictures. Should be a Model of ....... and a serial number...
Should have United States Property stamped under barrel, looks like the US ordnance bomb is present on the frame near hammer. I have one of these and a Colt, great shooters, no recoil due to the massive frames. Spot on price for a nice one.
