Item Description: Item Description: Zastava M85 Mini Mauser bolt action with iron sights, standard left-side bolt release, and an oil-finished walnut stock. It is chambered in 7.62x39mm and is a push round feed design. This gun is in like new condition and comes with Leopold scope rings & scope base, and a Simmons scope. The Zastava M85 is the rifle formerly imported as the Remington 799. This is a full size, right hand rifle with a 20" barrel (I thought I was buying a smaller rifle). The bottom metal is steel. I'm relisting this because I originally said it used a claw extractor and this one does not. PM me for more photos if interested.
This gun shoots steel case and brass cased ammo equally well. It is designed to shoot standard 7.62x39mm ammo (milsurp or commercial). I've put one box of Wolf steel case and one box of PPU brass cased ammo through it and it ran fine.
