Hey there ODT, so I saved this rifle a long time back from being doomed to stay in a dusty closet where its been for 30 or 40 years.

Cleaned it up nice, put it in a new stock and slung it on our fireplace in tribute to my grandfather. I thought he used these when he was military but it was probably an M1.

So here my tribute sits. I want a M1 Garand in trade, preferably as good looking or better. Besides some cosmetic marks under the handguard on the barrel, its pretty much pristine.

Bayonet and sling are not included lol Happy hunting Folks.

Did you polish the bolt? Hard to tell if it’s well used or polished

I did put in my post i restored it from sporterized configuration.

Did nothing about the bolt since it looks good.
