this particular gun as I said in the post is made in Romania it is not just Romanian parts assembled in the U.S like the psl it is built off the original Russian design and has the locking system like the Russian drag. I have this fpk and a Romanian psl and on the psl it does not lock open. call me if you have any more concerns jim 6786560515 I would be interested in an ar 10
