Up for trade is a Springfield Model 87a in .22s, .22l and .22lr
Tubular fed, 15 round magazine.
I don’t know much about these guns except that they were allegedly produced between 1939 and 1968.
I’ve shot this one a handful of times without malfunction, and that was before I cleaned it up.
Probably put 150 flawless rounds through it myself, so it functions as it should.
I know it shoots true and is a great .22, but I just am not really a .22 guy.
I’m mostly looking for pistols, but am also open to rifle optics and anything else Gun related.
Please inform me if anyone knows, but I’ll start out at trade value around $300.
Open to input from others who may know more about these rifles.
Bluing looks good. Probably about 85%
Internals look great and rifling is strong.
