WW II ammo can with the following:
3 6 pouch bandeleers with 8 round enbloc clips with ammo
that is 144 rounds of ammo

The following is stamped on the bandeleers: HYMAN 1953
4A2/Y9/00
USA/DOD/NAD

Can provide pics via text

May be looking to sell but need to know fair market value. Any information would be helpful.

Gonna need to see some of the ammo and a headstamp of some of the ammo...
What ammo is it... FMJ... AP... Tracer...??? confirm whether original to the bandoleer or a repack.???

It is not "WWII" if the bandolier is stamped 1953, as WWII ended on September 2, 1945.

The most accurate way to see exactly what you have is to tell us what the headstamp on the casings are, or provide a picture.
About $1/round would be a fair price.

USA/DOD/NAD means United States of America, Department of Defense, Not Adequately Defined (according to applicable existing standards). It should be noted here that the DoD was established on August 10, 1949 so the ammo as packed doesn't appear to be WWII issue. During WWII the DoD was named the War Department or WD. There may be WWII date ammo in the packing but you'd have to look at the individual ammo rounds and see what the head stamps say.
