Unfortunately I despise the older “hinged” trigger and the new-style trigger model is available from Brownells for $539. Worth the added tax/shipping for me to get trigger I prefer.

Absolutely love Apex triggers. For sure.

But for basically the same money… I’d rather have the factory trigger I prefer if I decide to shoot it a bit before upgrading.

Understandable. This one came with the awful hinged trigger so the upgrade was a no brainer. I had never considered an M&P until I saw this one. The trigger paired with the ported slide and barrel…..it would be hard for me to let it go.
