So last Sunday my truck window was smashed and my truck was broken into. It all started it horse town in locust grove, I was just browsing through the store and on the workers ask me if I carry a pistol. I replied yes most of the time but I hppened to leave it in my truck, he informed that there had been a smash and grab on a truck outside 20 minutes prior. So I grabbed my gun from my truck and kept browsing. After a while I left horse town and headed to the Best Buy on Jonesboro road in mcdonough. I put my gun on my hip and walked into the store. 15 minutes after walking in someone comes over the speaker and asks the owner of a white truck to come to the front. So I walked to the front of the store and he tells me my truck has been broken into and the alarm is going off. I walked outside and a couple guys approach me, and said the witnesses everything unfold. Apparently 2 guys is a newer styler silver camaro parked beside my truck and smashed my window. The two guys start going through my truck, then a guy walking by notices them and starts to confront them. The guys have already went through most of the truck so the bolt for the car, when them make it into the car the guy persues them. He runs up to the car with his phone out trying to take pictures of the guys, so the crooked pull 2 guns out the window and he backs off!!!! But then he jumps in his car and chases the guys up the interstate for about 10 miles until he loses them.
They hit me for about $1100 bucks worth of items, not including the damages to my truck window! (But no guns)
The crooks were driving a new silver camaro with out of state tags! No luck yet on the tag.
