I've changed my mind about the Second Amendment

Then you will only make them once that way, pretty soon people will get the point. sacrifices have to be made somewhere, why not start with the pieces of **** in the world!

Which other rights should be stripped away based on a past criminal record? Who should get to decide?

If this were the case, it may have an unintended and very positive side effect of focusing on rehabilitating criminals, or assigning appropriate prison sentences. There may even be totally new ways to approach incarceration/rehabilitation/probation/etc.
Depends on the crime. The criminal justice system.
A child molestor loses it's 'right' to live and work where ever it wants. The only punishement and 'dues' are not incarceration. They are varied and far reaching depending on the severity of the crime. I'm not telling you something you don't already know. You are trying to be consistent in your position. That's fine. Some things aren't that simple. The 2A is not about self defense. It's about an armed populace standing against tyranny. THAT is your right guaranteed by the 2A. If you abuse that RIGHT, you lose it and the fight against tyranny will just have to make due without your inability to make the most basic of decisions. If you want self defense, get an alarm a big ass dog, some pepper spray, knives and a cross bow. You've lost your right to firearms.

all felonies dont involve a weapon.

Your next to last sentence... facepalm. If I commit tax fraud, a federal offense considered a felony. then ive shown myself inept to handle a gun or protect myself by criminal association? Thats the logic of your statement? Because if thats the case.... I think your idea of logic is biased and to precautionary to consider.
When has a tax cheat shown a propensity to use deadly force towards innocents? I believe it's clear what everyone is discussion. It's not tax cheats.

The federal government defines a felony as a crime punishable by death or imprisonment in excess of one year. There is alot of room between those limits. The problem is not with regaining your rights after time served. IMHO the problem is not enforcing the law in the case of a capital or otherwise infamous crime. We coddle those who injure others on purpose and throw the book at some kid growing weed in his mothers basement.

The Bill of Rights is about Liberty. That we are free men and not subjects. That we determine our destiny not a tyrant. That we determine what property we will own and what we will do with it. That we determine how we will spend our lives and fortunes not a tyrant or a group of tyrants.

All im saying is there should be a clear line between violent and nonviolent. felonies shouldnt consist of remedial crimes that are 100% victimless.
Either way though, if youre gonna release someone from jail.... and call them free.... dont bs. Free them or call them your slave.
