Well that's not the law in every instance, and your rights are yours. If you can lose them, they were never "rights" in the first place.
Depends on the crime. The criminal justice system.Which other rights should be stripped away based on a past criminal record? Who should get to decide?
If this were the case, it may have an unintended and very positive side effect of focusing on rehabilitating criminals, or assigning appropriate prison sentences. There may even be totally new ways to approach incarceration/rehabilitation/probation/etc.
x 2Depends on the crime. The criminal justice system.
A child molestor loses it's 'right' to live and work where ever it wants. The only punishement and 'dues' are not incarceration. They are varied and far reaching depending on the severity of the crime. I'm not telling you something you don't already know. You are trying to be consistent in your position. That's fine. Some things aren't that simple. The 2A is not about self defense. It's about an armed populace standing against tyranny. THAT is your right guaranteed by the 2A. If you abuse that RIGHT, you lose it and the fight against tyranny will just have to make due without your inability to make the most basic of decisions. If you want self defense, get an alarm a big ass dog, some pepper spray, knives and a cross bow. You've lost your right to firearms.
When has a tax cheat shown a propensity to use deadly force towards innocents? I believe it's clear what everyone is discussion. It's not tax cheats.all felonies dont involve a weapon.
Your next to last sentence... facepalm. If I commit tax fraud, a federal offense considered a felony. then ive shown myself inept to handle a gun or protect myself by criminal association? Thats the logic of your statement? Because if thats the case.... I think your idea of logic is biased and to precautionary to consider.
When has a tax cheat shown a propensity to use deadly force towards innocents? I believe it's clear what everyone is discussion. It's not tax cheats.

All im saying is there should be a clear line between violent and nonviolent. felonies shouldnt consist of remedial crimes that are 100% victimless. When has a tax cheat shown a propensity to use deadly force towards innocents? I believe it's clear what everyone is discussion. It's not tax cheats.
