I've changed my mind about the Second Amendment

Self defense is a right. A firearm is a tool of self defense, as is a knife or baseball bat.
Shall not be infringed had a distorted meaning to some of the fellas on here. They think they can paraphrase the meaning along with their beloved government.

I wouldn't characterize anyone "on here" by one statement, especially if taken out of context.

He wasn't convicted of gun crimes nor was he sentenced for gun crimes.

Your question was "When has a tax cheat shown a propensity to use deadly force towards innocents?"

Not "When has a tax cheat been convicted of a gun crime"

I would have to list quite a few in the mafia that could go under the same heading.

Never convicted of murder, but their hands were far from clean.

Violent felons have already shown they will harm others. Putting a gun back in their hands legally is idiotic.

Other felons have shown they will break the law in a serious manner and should not be allowed to own a firearm.

Taking an extreme position on 2a in that criminals should have legal access to firearms does nothing to further 2a rights, can easily become a tool used by antis, and likely an effective one.

Capone was a victim of bullying and extortion by the federal gov. The syphilis pretty much fried his brain.... lol Either way... he was a hell of a business man

Fine tax cheats use guns to commit crime. I should know here under the cyber microscope intent is far less important than literal interpretations.
I'm not into placing penalties on people for crimes they aren't convicted of. Fair enough?
