I've changed my mind about the Second Amendment

Many non violent crimes shouldn't even be felonies. Nowadays, pissing on a fire ant can be a felony. I don't think that was ever the intent.

Remove about 80% of non violent crimes from the felony list, but true, violent felons shouldn't ever get their guns back.

I've always been of the belief that convicted felons should still have gun rights.

And guess what, a lot of the "violent" felons that make parole obtain guns by other means anyway. So you're living in a fool's paradise if you believe that gun laws keep violent people from having guns and doing violent things.

To ops original point, loosing the constitutional right to bear arms is just a part of the penalty of a felony just like they loose their right of freedom.

I'm not against all but a few kind of felons having their 2A rights restored eventually, but automatic restoration simply based on having served a prison term is a poorly thought out position.

To me felon = no guns. Insurance fraud , theft or murder. The felons had choices to not commit the felony before hand, they knew the consequences. . . . . .

I hope everyone who says this realizes that "pumping up" your "pain and suffering" after a car accident is insurance fraud, it's just really hard to prove. Nonetheless, you've still committed insurance fraud. So, start handing over your guns if you've had a 3rd party insurance claim and gave false statements about the level of pain you endured.

I've lived plenty. I told you to keep going. Just because I didn't hit your first three doesn't mean I haven't been an idiot in my life. I'm pretty sure I've never committed a felony before though.

Opening someone else's mail, and copy write infringement ( which has all kinds of stuff under it ) are some that were not mentioned.

I believe after the second felony they should get just one bullet no gun just one bullet right in the head .Problem fixed . I will donate the land for the state of Ga to dig the hole to put them in . First time meh
