Jc Higgins feeder rod

In a 2 gun purchase I'm buying a JC Higgins model 28, 22 rifle. It is missing the feeder Rod. Are there other rods that will work? If so which? Thank you.

I think the model 29 and 30 also use the same rod.. none listed a Numeric Arms so may well be tough to find.

you might check around with some of the "older" smiths around Atlanta.
