I wonder if she specifically asked for Michael Jackson's nose, or if it just turned out that way...

I personally never really found her that funny and certainly not endearing, but I was shocked a year or two ago when I saw a story about a charity she founded and ran. She would deliver meals to homebound AIDS patients in NYC. I mean SHE did it, personally. When she walked into their homes, those people knew her and she knew them and they knew and talked about small details of their lives. It was NOT put on. She appeared to do it alone as well, no fan fare and if that wasn't genuine concern then she's a far far better actor (as were the patients) than she or anyone was ever a comedian. I saw a side of her I would have never guessed existed.
Her talent was obviously great to some (even though again not really my slice of pie) but she very well have been the rare occurence among 'entertainers' where the PERSON is actually better than the talent.
I never found her that funny.I never found her that funny.
I'm more of a George Carlin, Richard Prior, Andrew Dice Clay type
Hmm...The first two are among my all-time favorites, ADC, not so much...
