I was scammed out of just over $40 by a post on Facebook advertising a Buck auto knife. When I received th knife it was a cheap looking knockoff. I have disputed the charges with PayPal and my credit card company. I spoke to customer service at Buck knives and they confirmed this is a scam and they are working to shut it down.

Pretty much any add o FB that requires Pay Pal payment is a scam. My brother got scammed twice. PP always refunds the money.

PP Is saying that since I disputed the transaction with my credit card folks they can't intervene. That card is the card associated with my PP account.

PP did not help me when I received a piece of crap item. PP is part of the problem in my situation. I will never buy anything off FB again either. I can relate to your problem. I wish we could prosecute those scamming us with crappy products.

I've sold a couple items that way for hundreds each. I don't understand why people are willing to buy that way. Good luck.

Bought some stuff off of ODT before with PP and got scammed, NO MORE PP unless I have done business with you before.
You take a check or sell to someone else.
