Just curious. If you are 60 how cold is too cold when looking to relocate and retire?

I'm the opposite. Grew up in heat and humidity and it never bothered me. Didn't even notice/realize it. Now I go back and think, "How do you people live here?!". I can dress for cooler weather. Can only do so much for hot & humid (without getting arrested).
I know people like you, that’s kinda weird… LOL :boink:

I grew in Peachtree City and moved to Orlando, FL with a job. Lived there 11 years and only miss it a couple of times a year. You can keep the heat, humidity, bugs, insurance rates, and crime. Moved back to PTC and have not regrated it once. As you get older, the cold will bother you more (those of us that had fun childhoods ). I can spend a week in KY and say nope, glad to be back to GA. If you move up North from Kingsland, your body will be in shock for the first 2-3 winters.

Hey I'm a happy guy...I'm very low maintenance. I'll be happier when it's warm enough my joints don't hurt.
Won't we all....I've finally actually got to feeling better with the cooler temps lately. I haven't felt like doing too much since the 100 degree days of summer

Cold is nothing new to me I grew up in the Midwest, lived in Laramie Wyoming for a bit. I love snow, winter, and can tolerate below zero temperatures. I can't live where winter last longer than the other 3 seasons. I also can't live where it's hot and humid most of the year. Eastern Tennessee, Kentucky, and W. Virginia are looking good for retirement.
