Just Finished Taxidermy Deer Mount Project! What do you think?

That's what I'm also doing now. I got this year's back in less than 2 weeks. Just 1 full mount for the wall, it was my 1st Ga. buck

Buy a boiling bucket and do your own.

Got it mounted today. Now the drying time starts. Takes about 3 weeks to dry. Then the paint and finish work begins. What do y’all think so far? I took this out of the freezer less than 2 weeks ago.

I added some cardboard and pins to help define muscle tones. I keep tucking eyes and lips as it continues to dry.

Drying of hide complete. Filled in epoxy around eyes, nose, and lips today. Finish paint tomorrow.

I’m going to use this old locust fence post with the mount.

Finished it today! Used the old locust post and a a very old state park sign. I found an old coke bottle that I thought would look good also. Please let me know what you think!
