Just got out of jail and my life is over.

Don't die. This might turn out to be a life long pardon. You probably need a break from 24/7 elderly care. Let them have a go at it. I feel like they won't last long.
Likely not. It ain't pretty and God bless anyone that tries to take on this task! We've had some real eye openers the last several years. You don't know till ya know......

I still would rather be doing it, than not knowing if she's alright.
I understand. There is a happy median, there should be anyway. We haven't seen it either.
Once this all blows over, if you're exonerated. You need to get this arrest off your record. It'll take some doing

Don't think I will live that long. Hearts working under 50%. My meds are at home maybe. Been a week now.

given a little time the "little bitches" might bring the patient back to it's original residence and GTF out of the situation. Everyone points fingers and finds fault with the caregiver.....until their sorry ass decides to show up and try to manage the situation. Nursing homes are full of abandoned family members who show up twice a year to point fingers at the "sorry staff"........the same staff thats under paid, under staffed, overworked, and 100 percent not respected.....all the while pointing fingers and complaining on their bi annual bitch session.
This x 1000...
My wife and her brother cared for their mom at home thru 5 years of hell because of their love for her. I saw it all first hand. Now...her brother has it and my wife and his son are dealing with it again in combination with an assisted living facility. He's a 300lb+ ex probation officer / US Marshall and when he gets belligerent or upset he's a force to be reckoned with even at 74 yrs old.

Walk a mile in their shoes...
