so after talking to a lot of people, my card was used for an over the phone dominos pizza transaction in Delaware. The store remembers the transaction and the lady was so weird that the delivery driver remembered her. She was claiming she had a sugar daddy online who wanted to pay for her kids birthday party. Before anyone says anything, im only on here, slickguns, and gpdo and don't make nearly enough to be anyones "sugar daddy". anyways I was told by GCPD that my card was skimmed more than likely at a local restaurant. iv narrowed it down to 2 or 3 that im fairly certain it happened at.

Any server at a resturant can take some recipt paper and make a quick etching of your card, get the CID on the back and max it out before you make it home.

this is true. the only reason I think its one of two places is the officer said it almost always happens at Mexican resturants (which iv been to recently) and then to another place where our server was very sketch in Suwanee.

Over the course of a couple months I had all my card numbers get stolen, and the only place where I had used every card during that period was a brand new quiktrip. I stopped buying gas there and haven't had a card number get stolen since. Annoying but not a big deal, my bank or credit card company usually had the money back to me in a few days.

I wouldn't stress about catching anyone, I doubt the police would follow through on any of the info you gather anyway, just avoid the places where you suspect it happened. And if your bank gives you any trouble I'd be sure to switch banks after you get your money back.

Try a credit union. I've had issues of similar misfortune in the past, switched to a c.u., feel MUCH better.
