I lease a 100 acre farm that has cows on it.
We fenced in an area for the corn feeder with wire fence and T-Post. The ground is like concrete but it did the job, for awhile. The cows finally had enough of smelling the deer corn and crashed the fence. We reinforced it with more post to no avail.

At this point I’m not sure what it is going to take. I’m thinking either a strand of barbed wire or maybe an electric wire at the top. or maybe both. Have any of you got any experience with cows and corn?

I've used cattle panels with T-Post to form a square to block off the feeder and then an electric solar fence strand on the outside at 18-24" off the ground. Make sure the poison the grass around the barricade to keep it off the electric fence.
Those big heavy panels would do the trick. But that’s a very expensive solution.
