They aren't supposed to be on that stretch at all. Pizzes me off to no end. Thank God being a few seconds early for a logging truck was my last trip there. They need to nail those idiots to the wall.

They need to install a beam about 7 feet over the road or build a tight zigzag at the entrance

Or some height sensors and some flashing lights and a place to turn around


I dont think any of the truck drivers get on that road on purpose knowing what it's like
And there is NO where to turn around



On the map it looks like a normal road
And it's the ONLY road to go from Knoxville to say Gainesville
Or wherever

Good example of why I got rid of my Harley last year.

Some guy told me that Tom Tom and garman GPS will tell the trucker it is the shortest route. And once he gets on it he is screwed.

I have had several big rigs stop at my driveway on 52, with brakes smoking and they were pissed. Seems the company dispatcher tells them the route to take.
