If I was you I would do this to an RIA then sell it and you could make moey and have some decent numbers of customers, Make a okay gun great rather than a good gun great. If someone wants a kimber, they don't want it changed to much, they want a real Kimber, but some 1911's could really benefit from what you're doing here I suppose.

There was a small string of Kimber's for a very short time that had some random QC issues. The LAPD Swat still uses them as does the LAPD SIS unit. Kimber still makes a quality product. End of story!

Yeah I was thinking of doing some RIAs like this I have a DoubleStar that I just want to get rid of but I love my Kimber it has never jammed the only isssue is the finish isnt to great but beyond that its a good gun.
