Knife in your pocket today?

Probably not carried in a pocket

I stopped carrying stuff that my GrandBoy might like one day. Switching between this Ontario and a Hogue knock off for a while. Really impressed with the Ontario Knife Co so far.

Not in my pocket but daily carried for over 14 years. Every 5 or so the kydex gives out. Had some medical tape over a crack for the last year or so and it finally fully crapped out yesterday. Anyone know of someone local who makes kydex sheaths and can help me out that would be awesome. Don't feel like shipping it if possible.

Retired the Spyderco Endura 50/50. It rode for many years in my pocket. Bought it in Puerto Rico at the NEX in 99 right before I went to Cuba. Broke the pocket clip on it around 03. Spyderco replaced the whole knife for free. The clip still shifted around through the years and that always bothered me. I know the newer style had a different attachment for the clip.

I used it and sharpened it so much it almost had a flat spot in the curvature of the blade - That was another bone of contention for me; this is one of the older, thicker Spyderco blades and it was like sharpening a hatchet. The blade steel was pretty "gummy" too. I think it was VG-10.

I replaced it with an older 950 Osborne Benchmade I found in a gas mask bag years ago. Better blade and quicker deployment.
