Knife in your pocket today?

I received my first Hinderer in the mail today. What a MAJOR disappointment! The pivot/flipping action is by far the worst I've ever had. I've had $30 gas station knifes with better action than that $425 XM-18. No doubt I got a bad knife, hey, it happens. Already have it boxed back up and being returned tomorrow.

Iirc he’s the jack ass that lied about his military service. I’ll never buy anything he was involved in.

Strider is the guy I’m thinking.

what gen? ive had several of the different gens and the early ones were anywhere from great to an amazing disappointment, he figured out his detent gen 3-4 for the most part and I have a skinny gen 6 that is about all you could ask for out of a hinderer. flips, thumb flicks and spydie flicks perfectly. ****ed up though and bought the skinny, have serious fatty regrets b/c if i wanted a thin slicey knife i have other knives for that, I like big thick hinderers. Keep waiting for an xm-24 drop in skinner or spanto.

That socks man. I miss the Blade show where you can fondle them and pick out the one you want.

Gen 6 on bearings! And I kid you not, it S-U-C-K-S. Contacted the vendor where I bought it (could not have been nicer and 100% helpful), and by describing it, he thinks it has a bad bearing on one side. Eh, it happens.

Absolutely! You read my mind. No doubt I’ll buy another one someday, but it’ll definitely be where I can in person handle a few and make a decision.

Kinda sucks, it was a 50th birthday present to myself. I hope that’s not a sign of things to come, LOL

Picked up this LUDT from ODT’s Microtech dealer @DEVEST8R at the Expo Show this morning.

If you’re ever in the market for a Microtech, John will take excellent care of you.
