Knife in your pocket today?

Except the specific example in my picket looks like it has been to hell and back.

Boker AK-47 Kalashnikov automatik. Gun show special, nothing fancy but it works.

Fast forward 6 months and this is still my edc knife and it has served me well. For an inexpensive automatic I couldn't be more pleased.

It was starting to look a little worn around the edges so today I hit it with a fresh coat of Cerakote. Nothing fancy, but its good to go.

I always have a karumbit and leatherman charge ti, but my right pocket changes frequently. Picked up this flipper in CPM 3V from my buddy Dan Peters today. Ill go ahead and plug him as Im a fanboy to the nth degree. He makes primarily fixed blades-lifetime warranty no matter what. I have no idea what it would take to break his stuff though. Bomb...and even more impressive mikeproof.

I am loving that hoover! Is it awkward to carry?
Thanks man. It's not unwieldy-about 5 1/2 inches long closed and the way the clip rides it doesn't ever poke the bottom of your pocket.

That being said it probably rides a couple times a month and I have to be in the mood for a half pound of awesome in my pocket. The handle is super light but that is one big hunk of steel. The balance feels awesome -makes you wanna hack at something. Not my most practical, but up there with my favorites. It was really nice of Mr Hoover to make it, he usually just makes what he wants and waits for the first "I'll take it". I pm'd him at bladeforums and talked him into helping me out. Not another like it anywhere.

Decided to replace the gerber I had been carrying for years due to blade wobble and an unknown steel that was a little too soft for my uses. I had to sharpen it too often.
Picked this up last weekend as replacement. CRKT Carson design M16-13ZLEK The AUS8 steel seems to be holding a fine edge so far.

Just arrived this week. Benchmade Osborne 940-1. Promised myself I wouldn't spend this much on an EDC again, but my REI dividend was burning a hole in my pocket.
