The Black Flag Edition Strider SMF is on its way to me finally. I can't wait to use this beast. Thinking of having all metal parts cerakoted, anyone know a good coater for knives???

Here is a vote not to cerakote... If you are going to use the knife then the cerakote will not hold up to what the knife will. I carried one while serving in Nicaragua and it endured everything I could throw at it and the stonewash held up fairly well... It has been said "chicks dig scars" but a good knife need some scars too!!

Have no doubt this one will get used and im not really worried what the knife will handle. Im more concerned about protecting it from corrosion, at my weekend job I work around a lot of water and chemicals that aren't so good for the steel. The last s35vn blade I took in there had to be immediately taken apart and cleaned as it had formed some surface rust in less than 8 hours. Granted this one is s30v but im afraid the same thing will happen.
