Knife Sharpening

So I've tried and tried. I can put a decent edge on a blade.

But ive got a good friend that sharpens professionally.

Very reasonable. I sent a few so so knives once after someone recommended him to me.
Ive barely trusted my edges to myself since.

Its a sharp like nothing I've seen consistently.
Ive actually had a few purchased from Retailers and a few customs sent directly to him before to me. Haha

he isn't affordable (starting at $12) and offers 2 edges. Toothy (working) and mirror. Some knives with stonewashed patinas just glimmer with mirror edge.

I have one with a full set of stones. if you want you are welcome to take it for awhile and try it out.

Only problem I could see would be an unwillingness to use the knife after having such a pretty edge put on it.

Wow... incredible work! That is a no joke mirror finish.


I use a lansky setup and finish on a leather strop, but I can't compare my results to those photos. Mine are plenty sharp, but not nearly that perfect. And the lansky tends to over grind on the curves.

12 bucks seems pretty affordable really. Nice looking work.
