Know anything about Vaccums?

I think its about time to get a new one and if i can buy ammo and guns i can go ahead and get a decent one. hopefully not over $100, even if it means selling some .22 to get one. Also i have two dogs and the bedrooms are carpet and the rest of the house is laminate wood floors, any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Spend more than $100.00, get a Dyson Animal....cannister or upright....

Dyson or Shark. Spend more than 100. You wont have to go over and over with those and the power is better than most. They last longer too. I have 2 dogs and 1/4 of the house is carpet. We use a Shark.

Buy a older used Kirby on Ebay..you'll never buy a vacuum agian. Dyson is nice but doesnt compare to Kirby.

I am a guy who lives by himself. I have a Dyson DC35. It is AWESOME. Seriously. It is so easy to use, I vacuum on a fairly regular basis. I've got hardwoods, tile, and carpet. It is a champion on all fronts. Also works great in the car.

Is it expensive? Yes. However it makes everything so much easier when cleaning. One downside is the battery. I've got a small house and I rarely do the entire house all at once. I typically do it piece by piece (like today, I'm vacuuming the stairs and entrance...needs it). With this logic, the battery is more than plenty. However if you want to vacuum 4,000 sq. ft. all in one day, it ain't gonna last for all of that.

Overall, the ease of it and convenience is what sold me on actually taking care of my house. Heck even women comment on how clean my house is. BTW I am not a clean nor organized person.
