No. A friend of mine was carrying at a cookout, Hall Co. saw his gun (I guess his shirt came up at some point) approached him about his gun with guns drawn. Took him to the ground and arrested him. They only charged him with disorderly, though.

We were just there this weekend and the signs/rules say to keep it in your vehicle. I didn't carry because we rode the snow slides, etc... but it didn't stay in the car.

Wow.... stupid signs tell the criminals where the guns are to take from the law abiding citizens... THAT MAKES SENSE .

Back in June of 2014 GeorgiaCarry.Org filed a lawsuit that is still ongoing about getting rid of the prohibition on CORPS property.

Lake Lanier/J Stom Thurman you can get a FREE permit to hunt the ACOE area. Hog hunting is 24 hours and over bait. A buddy and I loaded the boat with stripers and hogs. Awesome weekend.

I would assume that the lodge / restaurant / gift shop is also on Corps propery, even if it is more than 25 yards from the "full pool" lake shore.
