Man, I was there just last week and here you go making want to go again. Sounds like you had a great time and that class of folks was a lucky stroke.

The cmp specials they built are all hand selected parts. Just gorgeous rifles. The guy who looked at my sights also purchased a Winchester service grade for $930 in the creedmoor
Shop. It was very nice. That creedmoor shop now takes all the floorspace of the club house all the way to the restrooms. It keeps growing.

Correct. the Creedmoor shop in the CMP park. Its REAL nice...

When purchasing a pinion/elevation knob make sure the detent/tit is sharp not rounded over. The pinion may look new but the tit may be worn rounded and not hold.

Really appreciate that you post pics. It helps me experience CMP vicariously. Haven't had enough time to do a real range trip, so it's nice getting a range report.

My project rifle.... real looker. This is one I have never shared another teaser.

I see that youre keeping records.....that's a goid thing. I need to do a better job with that myself....i keep switching rifles and i don't remember my settings

I am envious! I drove to a local range today , took @ 15 minutes to shoot two new items and took off.

Less than satisfying but better than no shooting. In for a CMP range trip down the road , I went with alleycat and Mrs. Alleycat once and had a great time.
