Last Minute CMP Talladega trip...UPDATE with a few pics from today

I am envious! I drove to a local range today , took @ 15 minutes to shoot two new items and took off.

Less than satisfying but better than no shooting. In for a CMP range trip down the road , I went with alleycat and Mrs. Alleycat once and had a great time.

That was a great trip. We should do it again.....

When purchasing a pinion/elevation knob make sure the detent/tit is sharp not rounded over. The pinion may look new but the tit may be worn rounded and not hold.

I bought a new production pinion from ammo Garand. I saw one on one of the rifles the AMC class had built. Looks great. Even had that dark park finish. It's in meters not yards. But not hard to figure out.
