They are normally buying a truck load of targets and shot shells so their freight cost for shot is lower.
Recobs or Precison Reloading are good places to purchase on-line. $18- $20 shipping for 2 bags is not great but likely the same price as driving across town in your pickup if you are only buying a couple of bags
