Any other weather nuts out there? I’ve sometimes wondered what “Invest” plus a number means.

Turns out it’s an “investigative area” or “area of interest”. Could turn into a tropical depression, a tropical storm, or maybe a hurricane. Or not.

For now we jes be keepin’ an eye on it.

Invest is what they call a Low pressure that they expect to turn into a named storm. Invest
s start at 90 and go to 99 and then they start over at 90.
