I had 2 of these. Bought new in 1999 and 2000. Workhorse machines that never gave me any problems. Finally sold them in 2017 and bought a new Sportsman 450 Utility model. It's my go-to machine for either putting the boat in and out of the water or bringing in supper! My Poley 500, I bought it new in 1997
Yes and the AWD system on the old machines could get you in trouble after they have some years on them. The old magnet clutch system could prove unreliable and downright dangerous in certain situations. That's why I got rid of mine. The newer machines don't have the same problem... they just have "other" issues! But, I still love it for what it is!Frame is superior, has better power @ lower rpm’s and more driver ergo’s than the new Poley 570’s.. but downside is being it’s carbureted, so sometimes it’s a pain to get running after it’s been sitting awhile.
Nice Parade Car! Love it!Sold my 2011 Polaris 800 ranger factory camo, it was just sitting in the Garage. So I picked this up and been working on it when I can..Thanks To Torn and his friend for installing the bumpers.
