Traditions out of CT make modern and traditional ones, But the nicer reproduction s are Italian it sems. There are quite a few hsndmade gus available from some fantastic makers all over the country.

It's not mine, but I had a smaller version many years ago.
It took 1/4 pound of black powder at a time! Expensive to shoot.

Me and the gang at Vicksburg on 4th of July this year. Got to crew Vicksburgs 12lb Napoleon for 4 days. We were shooting a half charge @ 1 lb of goex cannon grade powder. Couldnt imagine having to pay to feed that sucker at 2lbs a shot for a full service charge.
I regularly shoot the 3in ordinace rifle at Kennesaw Mnt. We shoot half charge with a 1/2 lb powder. So much fun.
