Here is a Colt I just finished. Got it from the classifieds with a bunch of work already done. Just had to clean a few things up and add a few details. Polish and blue, came out nice.
Its primarily built to be used as an IDPA CDP gun, but it has turned into just an over all great range gun.

That looks good. Did you do the front strap checkering or was it already like that when you got it?

Well then I need to find one. Id like to have a .45 when I go hog hunting anyways. Time to search for a new 1911 to play with.

Might look at a 10mm 1911 if your using it as a backup while hog hunting. Either way hope you find what your looking for and don't go cheap. Better to save longer and not regret it later (believe me I know lol).

I have a pair of them. Both Springfield longslides, one is the Trophy model. Never tried 45 Super in them, they both came with an additional spring for shooting 45Super though.
