I've fired both 357 and 38 in my Lever action Puma with no issues but its all been factory ammo.

a detail strip of the m92 is pretty straight forward. A youtube video, a cell phone camera and patience is all you need.

however.. I would not do it often as it does take some time and is not wholly necessary since the lever gun keeps most the powder residue in the barrel and on the bolt face.. so your internals do not get too nasty too quick.
