9v batteries should be good regularly to 20 degrees. Lithiums even colder. Ain’t nowhere in GA that cold that long. Wiring issue? Board issue? Something else probably going on there.

the weather was in the teens multiple days in a row here.. some days it didnt get above freezing this month

its an insulated room but not climate controlled... if your guns cant survive a garage i think you have other things to worry about lmao.

You don't need it drilled. Same thing happened to me, same safe, same crappy chinese electronic keypad. The locksmith pulled the pad, found a loose wire, connected it and I opened it with my code. We then replaced the electronic lock with a manual spin lock.

Why not contact a repair company? My wild guess, without any education on the matter : maybe some moisture got into the circuit board, something corroded , and shorted out , so it would drain batteries, till it fried itself . Please understand that my degree in ghetto technology is extensive. Keep us updated , and good luck HOMESLICE.

Bad locks or locks going bad drain batteries… we tell all of our customers that. If your E lock is draining batteries replace the lock. Just swaping the keypad is putting a skirt on a pig.

(Swaping an electric lock to an electric lock is a 10-15 minute job on a bad day… honestly anyone with a screwdriver and 1/2 of brain can do… they sell locks on eBay and Amazon)
