Has anyone else watched this?
Daniel Day Lewis plays Lincoln and the rest of the cast is "star-studded." I'm a huge history buff and have taken many classes in History and so far, it's a great flick. Lewis, as always, puts his all into the character of Lincoln and the amount of history actually in the movie is astounding. While I feel the movie still panders to the liberal ideals that have long propagated the image of Lincoln, it is still pretty damn good movie. The movie really centers around the push to have the 13th amendment ratified and it's evident they took some liberties, but all in all, it's chocked full of history.
