I have been on it for several years but only have the "basic" version. I have never tried to get a job from it but I know several people who have!

I don't use LinkedIn. My choice and this is why: The co-founder of LinkedIn is a huge Obama supporter and coincidentally sits on the board of Mozilla. Seems they were just in the news for running off their CEO for his pro-marriage political donations from 8 years ago. Oh what a tangled web...Look up Reid Hoffman, a powerful and very, very connected man.
